Juicy Beef Burgers
Yield 12 medium sized burgers
We’ve all been there. The picture on the box of frozen burgers looks so enticing. We eagerly place it on the grill, and the results are rather…. Blah. How would you like to be the one with the most enviable burgers on the block? These come together in minutes and surpass frozen burgers… by about a mile!
These can be broiled in the oven as well, if you don’t have an outdoor grill, or anytime you have a hankering for summer flavors during the dark and cold winter months… (remember those?)
Burgers:
1 lb. ground beef
3 ½ Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
½ cup grated onion
Pinch freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients until well incorporated.
With clean, wet hands form burgers and place directly on the grill or in a lined baking pan. These will shrink, so make them larger than you think you should.
Fry, grill, or broil in the oven for 5 minutes on one side. Flip the burgers over and cook for another 6-8 minutes on the other side.
Serve on a bun with desired toppings and enjoy!
